About the Ghana Association of Las Vegas
The Ghana Association of Las Vegas, also known as GALV, is a nonprofit organization established in 1994 to promote the well-being of Ghanaians living in the Las Vegas area.
GALV is a community of Ghanaians united by shared culture, heritage, and values. The organization provides a supportive and welcoming environment for all Ghanaians in Las Vegas — and for friends of Ghana who share in our mission of unity and service.

Edmond Sarpong
Edmond Sarpong serves as President of the Ghana Association of Las Vegas, leading the organization's vision to unite Ghanaians and friends of Ghana across the Las Vegas valley. He is committed to building a stronger community through cultural celebration, civic engagement, and service.
Esther Sarpong
Esther Sarpong supports the association's family and community engagement initiatives, championing programs that bring together women, families, and youth in shared cultural experiences and meaningful service.
Isaac Kofi Appiah
Isaac Kofi Appiah coordinates executive operations, ensures the smooth running of association programs, and helps align leadership priorities with the needs of the membership.
Afia Boone
Afia Boone partners with the President to drive the strategic direction of the association, oversee key initiatives, and represent GALV at community and partner events.
Dr. Cyclopea Anakwa
Dr. Cyclopea Anakwa leads cultural programming, including festivals, heritage education, and traditional celebrations that keep Ghanaian identity vibrant in Las Vegas.
Peter Baffour Buabeng
Peter Baffour Buabeng oversees the financial health of the association, including budgeting, donations, reporting, and ensuring transparency to members and donors.
Peter Andrews Eshun
Peter Andrews Eshun manages records, communications, and member correspondence, ensuring the association stays organized and members stay informed.
Yaw A Fosu (Abrantie Yaw)
Yaw A Fosu, popularly known as Abrantie Yaw, curates entertainment for major association events—bringing energy, music, and a true Ghanaian flavor to every gathering.
